Ballantyne speeding ticket

Ballantyne speeding ticket
If you have a Ballantyne speeding ticket you need to know the local rules for obtaining a reduction. Generally speaking the best reduction option is an Improper Equipment, which is a non-moving violation and carries no insurance or DMV points. To qualify for a reduction to improper equipment in you usually must meet three requirements:
  1. No moving violations in the last 3 years.
  2. No Driving While Impaired (DWI) convictions.
  3. Not be charged with going more than 18 mph over the limit. (rule has been relaxed somewhat)
If you meet the above the requirements you may qualify to obtain a reduction to improper equipment. The fine and Court costs for Improper Equipment total $266. Our fee is $175. The total of $441 includes us paying for a hard copy of your DMV record to show the Assistant District Attorney and attending Court on your behalf. This saves you the inconvenience of paying for a DMV record, taking time off work, paying to park uptown, and waiting in Court for possibly hours.

If you do not meet the requirements to qualify for a reduction to Improper Equipment you may qualify for a Prayer for Judgment Continued (PJC) or a reduction in speed. If you would like to discuss your options with a NC Speeding Ticket Attorney, please email or give us a call at (704) 493-6851.
