NC Traffic Tickets

NC Traffic Ticket
Even simple speeding tickets often cost far more than the printed costs on the ticket. Insurance companies are usually looking for any excuse to raise your rates. Please speak with a local attorney before paying a ticket or pleading guilty without a full understanding of the consequences. Witt Law Firm, P.A. offers a free phone consultation for all traffic related matters.

Lawyer fees for speeding tickets start at $200 and usually eliminate the need to take a day off work and wait around in court. Remember you can always call your insurance adjuster to ask whether a particular ticket will raise your rates, although some companies will refuse to give you any advice other than you have to wait and see.

There is a distinction between DMV points and insurance points. Ever wonder the difference between improper equipment and a prayer for judgment continued (PJC)? Will this charge result in DMV points? Will that charge result in Insurance Points? What is the difference between insurance and DMV points in NC? If you are looking for answers- give us a call. If your insurance adjuster refuses to give you any guidance other than wait and see then that is not a good sign your rates will not increase. Be aware that simply paying off any ticket is the same as pleading guilty and may even revoke your license. If you received an accident ticket in NC there is a good chance the case can be dismissed with an insurance letter.  Call an attorney to seek a reduction that won't raise your insurance by fighting to protect your interests in Court.
