Criminal Trespass

Trespass is a Class 2 misdemeanor. (N.C.G.S. 14-159.12)  A person guilty of Trespass:
    1.    without authorization
    2.    (a) enters or
           (b) remains
    3.    (a) on premises of another so enclosed or secured as to demonstrate clearly 
                 an intent to keep out intruders or
           (b) in a building of another. ​

You do have options:

1. A Cognitive Behavior Intervention Class in exchange for a dismissal.
2. Community Service in exchange for a dismissal.
3. Deferred Prosecution.
4. A plea deal to a lesser charge or a Prayer for Judgment Continued. (PJC).
5. Expunction of any criminal charges.
